I have great news for all your wonderful people!! Since Whispered Echoes got to #1 not only in the Coming of Age category but also in Ghosts and Urban Fantasy on Amazon, I decided to spread the love and do a Goodreads giveaway for the first book of the series — you may enter here.
Now, to your agendas. On November 21st, I’ll be participating to my first ever Facebook launching party, hosted by the amazing fantasy author and fellow Canadian buddy Krista Walsh. Swing by and say hi, I should be around noon to give away the COMPLETE WHISPERED ECHOES SERIES in ebook format! There’s a bunch of splendid authors spending the day there, so come to hang out and win some prizes — it begins at 10 am, and it’s in your pyjamas!! The link is here:)
Cue to tragic cellos and heartbreaking violins. As you may know, reviews are fragile creatures. It’s a constant struggle for authors to gather enough and see their books reach a bigger audience. If you have already read Whispered Echoes, please think of leaving one here; but if not, I have a special offer just for you. I’ll send you the first book of the series in ebook format in exchange of an honest review. Just fill in the form below with specifications about the format: pdf or mobi.
So that’s it for me, folks. I’m heading to my writing cave to work on The Melancholy Trilogy and hope to see you all at the launch on Saturday!!
Stay spooked, my friends:)
Well, #OctoberFrights came and went, but we have WINNERS for my giveaway: Angela Addams for the paperback copy of Whispered Echoes and Rob Bennett for the entire series in ebook format!! Congrats, gifts are in the mail:)
ps- I’ve decided to give the first of the Whispered Echoes series to these lovely people who also brought in the scares with their terrific ghost stories: Fiona Padmore, Elaine Breault, Barbara Custer, Michelle Willms, Katie M. John, A.F. Stewart, Mary Preston and Kristia:)
Thanks for participating, everybody!!

Good luck, and stay spooked:)
Ah, Halloween, how I love you so. Ghosts and ghouls free to roam the dark streets for a night, to remind us how it feels to be alive. The brisk windgusts and fallen leaves twirling at our capes as we hunt. There’s candy, of course. And other traditions as well: Nightmare before Christmas playing in loop, pumpkin everything, reading spooky stories by candlelight… and the COFFIN HOP!!
Axel Howerton’s brainchild to unite horror writers for a week has grown over the years, and the prizes get even more awesome! Here’s the link to all the amazing participants – there’s giveaways, books and gore at every stop!!
My rules are very simple: fill the form below to win paperbacks of Girls & Monsters and Hunter’s Trap, and a Skellie (either be a vampire, a zombie or a spider), but you have to either follow this blog, follow me on twitter or follow my facebook page – your name or alias will suffice, as proof. And if you want to tell me your best Halloween secret, it’ll make me a happy girl♥ The contest ends on Halloween night, at midnight, and the lucky winner’s name will be drawn in a hat the next morning.
Good luck, and don’t forget that Hunter’s Trap is on sale at 0.99$ for a very limited time!!
Hunter’s Trap is only one week old and already reviews have poured in. Is it love? Well it certainly makes their hearts pitter-patter, which is always what I try to do. Bringing chills, a little fright, a good creep… I aim to spook♥
And a quick reminder that the GOODREADS giveaway ends on October 10th, so if you feel luck is on your side, go right ahead – with 3 chances to win a paperback, odds ain’t that bad.
Tilly, the ghost dog
On the day of the launch, instead of staring at Amazon’s ranks while bitting my nails, I went out with Hunter’s Trap…
Meat-cutes happen all the time at the grocery store
We got lost in the way, and Hunter got hungry. Now, the lady standing next to me is not featured in the picture, which is quite a shame. Her horrified face was priceless.
What is that you say? I’m not allowed to put ANY book under the #getobsessed section?
What an honor, what a dream… what a trickery. No, this picture is NOT photoshoped, but it doesn’t reflects reality, either. Oh well, one can always hope.
Pumpkin Spice Latte with a Bday Cakepop… and a mermaid.
Well, it has arrived: my book. MY. BOOK. I’m so pleased, proud, scared, excited, a little noxious and so much in love. It looks like I wanted, it reads like I wanted, and I’m so happy to let it go on its own, in this scary, scary world beyond my computer.
Go, fly little one, and if you’re to come back, only with specters of black feathers…

It’s almost time for Hunter’s Trap’s launch (September 9th, don’t forget) and I wanted to share the excitement, so here’s the link to a Goodreads giveaway with 3 chances to win a paperback of my latest YA horror story. The contest ends on October 10th and is opened to participants living in Canada, the United States and the UK.
Other news worthy of your calendar: the first of my novella series Girls & Ghosts is to be released in November, date TBA. What a thrill not only because I explore creepy, ghostly worlds again, but these stories feature strong heroines with a purpose other than romance.
And so far, Killer Girls should hit the virtual shelves mid-February…
Stay spooked, folks♥
